I was a professional grade 5 civil servant at Gwangju City and was dispatched to the 2015 summer universiade as a spokeswoman. It was a meaningful experience in my life and worked with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, IOC President Tomas Bach, Gwangju City Mayor, Vice President, and President of South Korea.
I started my career as a junior scientist at the University of Minnesota, Medical Center Fairview. I luckily started my career before my graduation, but always think of, "one day I want to become a writer." It was one of my bucket lists in my life and achieved it.
It was honorable, and I truly appreciate the great experience and chance.
Now I came back to science, but it was a memorable experience in my life. I love writing. It's the center of my life. What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.
Recently, I attended a conference where the hosts kindly organized a meet-the-editor session. I don't know my future yet, but if I have a chance, "one day I want to become a professional scientific editor" as a scientist.
